Thom M. Armstrong, Ph.D. in History, University of California at Santa Barbara
For the past three years Dr. Armstrong has served as the superintendent/president of Copper Mountain College, where he led a successful general obligation bond campaign. He also promoted the establishment and expansion of an RN program and prepared the district for major facilities construction and remodeling. Prior to this position he served as vice president of instruction at Citrus College from 1997 to 2004. |

Lori Gaskin, Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, University of Nevada,Reno
Dr. Gaskin is currently the vice president of academic affairs and student services at Lake Tahoe Community College and has served in this position for seven years. During this time Gaskin said she has developed a strong instructional and student services leadership team, strengthened curriculum and provided enhanced support services, and launched a research-based enrollment development initiative. She also currently serves as the statewide president of the California Community Colleges Chief Instructional Officers organization. Prior to her current job she was a dean of instruction at LTCC for eight years. Before coming to LTCC, Dr. Gaskin worked for Barstow College as a tenured faculty member teaching geography, geology, and mathematics. |

David L. Rule, Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Statistics, University at Albany, State University of New York
Dr. Rule has served as president of Muskegon Community College in Michigan since 2005. Dr. Rule oversaw the completion of a new $7.2 million library and information technology center and secured additional private funding to supplement the construction costs. He also initiated a complete revitalization of the campus’ technology services and infrastructure. Dr. Rule began his career in education as a fifth grade music teacher. Prior to assuming his duties at Muskegon Community College, he served for four years as vice president of academic affairs for Orange County Community College in New York. |

Paul T. Killpatrick, Ph.D. in Postsecondary Education, Oregon State University
Dr. Killpatrick is the current president of Great Basin College in Elko, Nev. During his tenure, Dr. Killpatrick raised more than $4 million in donations for the college through the GBC Foundation, increased the college’s full-time equivalent students by 27 percent, and successfully lobbied the state legislature for a $17 million Electric and Industrial Tech. Center. Prior to this Dr. Killpatrick was vice president of instruction at Mt. Hood Community College in Oregon for five years. |
