Citing Internet Sources

When using the Internet for research, you must correctly cite your sources in your bibliography. Because the Web changes so quickly, it's a good idea to save or print all the pages you want to cite.

For your bibliography, be sure to note:

        • The Internet address or "URL" for your
               Internet site, such as http://www.source.com
        • The date you accessed the pages

Ask your instructor if there is a bibliographic style or format that he/she prefers you to use (MLA, APA, Chicago, etc.). If there is no instructor preference, pick one and be consistent.
