Scan academic periodicals and web sites:

Access the most current and accurate data via online databases such as:

CINAHL Plus - provides indexing for 3,123 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health.

Health & Wellness Resource Center - delivers up-to-date reference material as well as full-text magazines and journals from a variety of authoritative medical sources.

Review, refine & critique:

Do you have a focussed thesis? Is the data gathered so far too broad? Then narrow the search.

Is it biased unfairly towards one point of view? Then broaden your search.

Prepare your Bibliography:

Use consistent citation formatting, such as APA or MLA styles. For more information, see Style Guides for specific examples.
