Access the most current data via online databases such as:

Academic Search Elite - offers full text for nearly 2,000 scholarly journals, including nearly 1,500 peer-reviewed titles.

CINAHL Plus - provides indexing for 3,123 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health.

CountryWatch - offers up-to-date news and information on each of the recognized countries of the world.

EBSCOhost - offers combined searching of Ebsco’s Academic Search Elite plus MasterFILE Premier collection of periodicals, reference sources and images.

Encyclopedia Britannica Online - academic edition includes multi-media formats pertaining to a broad range of subjects.

ERIC - stands for the Education Resources Information Center, which provides access to books on the subject of education.

Health & Wellness Resource Center - delivers up-to-date reference material as well as full-text magazines and journals from a variety of authoritative medical sources.

Health Reference Center Academic - provides full text access to nursing and allied health journals, plus personal health information sources.

MasterFILE Premier - provides full text articles and general reference publications dating as far back as 1975.

Opposing Viewpoints Resource Center - gives both sides of the argument, pro and con, on hot topics.

PsycARTICLES - contains more than 100,000 articles from 59 journals. 

 

 

Review, refine & critique:

Do you have a focussed thesis? Is the data gathered so far too broad? Then narrow the search.

Is it biased unfairly towards one point of view? Then broaden your search.

Is the topic covered fully?

 

Prepare your Bibliography:
