To locate books, magazines, videos, DVD's, Reserves that the LTCC Library owns, search the online catalog. For example, the LTCC Library has a book called The Anatomy Coloring Book, chock full of detailed skeletal and articular diagrams, located, with other anatomy books, at TALL BOOKS QM 25 K36.

Pinpoint keywords and synonyms on your topic. Then access the most current data via online databases such as:

CINAHL Plus - provides indexing for thousands of journals from the fields of nursing and allied health.

EBSCOhost - thousands of full-text journals and resources on all topics.

Health & Wellness Resource Center - delivers up-to-date reference material as well as full-text magazines and journals from a variety of authoritative medical sources.

Health Reference Center Academic - provides full text access to nursing and allied health journals, plus personal health information sources.

Health Source: Nursing Academic Edition - covers consumer health information, featuring  over 130 consumer health magazines.

MEDLINEPlus Health Information - Information from the National Library of Medicine.

PLoS Biology - is a peer-reviewed open-access journal featuring research articles of exceptional significance in all areas of biological science, from molecules to ecosystems.

PLoS Genetics - is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that reflects the full breadth and interdisciplinary nature of genetics and genomics research by publishing outstanding original contributions in all areas of biology.

PLoS Medicine - is a peer-reviewed, international, open-access journal publishing important original research and analysis relevant to human health.

PLoS ONE - is an interactive open-access journal for the communication of all peer-reviewed scientific and medical research.

PLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases - is an open-access journal devoted to the world's most neglected tropical diseases.
